Both of our girls are growing SO big, SO fast!! I can hardly believe that Ashley will be starting preschool soon and Ayla is hardly a baby anymore (now that she has taken her first steps). Here are a few leftover/random pictures from both April and May.

Brian asked Ashley if she would draw a picture of "Daddy and Ashley". This is what she brought him (Brian labeled it). We both LOVE this pictutre.

The Easter bunny visited our neighborhood for an Easter egg hunt. Here's Ashley with her best bud Courtney.
Every year (since we’ve had children) we take a short vacation to Omaha. Grandpa and Grandma McMurray join us, and the trip is very kid focused (lots of swimming in the hotel pool, trips to the children’s museum and zoo, ice cream out, parks, etc.). It’s so nice because Omaha is a mere 3+ hours away, so while we’re able to get out of dodge and go on a vacation…the travel time is short and sweet.

After this ride, Ashley decided to go down them by herself...about 15 times! (This is a big change from our daughter who used to be VERY scared of slides).
We went to visit my parents in Kanorado, Kansas (1 mile from the border of Colorado) over my birthday weekend. It was a GREAT trip. It’s not often that the entire Graybill family is able to get together, so it’s always a treat when we can. My mom had so many wonderful things planned for our gathering.

My mom planned and bought items, and my dad built a CASTLE for the girls to play in. It was AWESOME!!!! Who builds a castle for their grandkids for just a 5 day visit?? MY PARENTS! Way cool.

Of course what is a castle without a ball? (Does Grandma know Ashley or what!) Ashley was SO excited to get ALL dressed up like Cinderella, dance, and lose her glass slipper at the ball.

The rest of us had to dress the part for the ball as well. Lucky for us adults, my mom has a huge dress-up box full of clothes and accessories. We had fun.

Cousin Faith and Ashley sitting at church. (The picture is a bit blurry, but the girls looked beautiful).

Christian chewing on Ayla's FAVORITE stuffed puppy dog at church. That's family love for you...sharing our most prized posessions.

Cousin Noelle riding my old cabbage patch big wheels in my dad's shop. LOVE the look on her face. GO NOELLE!

My mom had a tea party for all of the girls. We all wore hats that belonged to my dad's grandmother and my mom showed us these different teapots that belonged to various family members. It was fun and cute.

Modeling our hats and enjoying our tea (Ashley had juice, and her FAVORITE part was pouring her own juice into the cup...she had about 8 cups of juice!)

My mom hosted a Mystery Dinner. There was a hawaiian theme and the names of ALL of the food (including silverware) was in Hawaiian. So...ordering each course of the menu meant you never knew what you were going to get (soup served with a knife perhaps, or dessert and some carrot sticks). It was a lot of work for both Faith, our waitress, and my mom...but we all LOVED it! SO creative.
