Both of our girls are growing SO big, SO fast!!  I can hardly believe that Ashley will be starting preschool soon and Ayla is hardly a baby anymore (now that she has taken her first steps).  Here are a few leftover/random pictures from both April and May.

Brian asked Ashley if she would draw a picture of "Daddy and Ashley". This is what she brought him (Brian labeled it). We both LOVE this pictutre. :)

The Easter bunny visited our neighborhood for an Easter egg hunt. Here's Ashley with her best bud Courtney.

Checking out their loot.

I do adore my 2 girls! :)

It was a beautiful day to walk and take pictures. :)

Melts my heart.

Ashley visiting the dentist. They gave her a Cinderella toothbrush!! I think they know my daughter.

Both girls love to swing!

A great day to eat lunch outside = a very happy Ayla!

Trying out her new umbrella. Yup, it works!

Attending a ladybug/princess tea party at Courtney's church.

A bit blurry, but still a cute pic of the two of us.

Having our nails painted at the ladybug carnival (which followed the tea party).

Decorating her cookie (she is SO focused).

Probably her favorite part...dressing up and then running around.

For mother's day we rented a pontoon boat, packed some goodies, and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon on the water. Here's Ayla and Grandma McMurray, enjoying the ride.

Daddy and Ashley driving the boat.

Ayla, checking out the view. :)

Happy Mother's Day!

A happy girl playing with her water (it doesn't take much to please her).

Working with daddy (note the pink vtech laptop Ashley is using while daddy types on his computer).

Ayla is a big help when it comes to waking up her sister.

Funny hair - after her bath.

Our family at the Royals baseball game (on Memorial Day).

Enjoying the beach (now if I only I could get her to stop from trying to eat the sand).

Snack time at the beach.

Every year (since we’ve had children) we take a short vacation to Omaha.  Grandpa and Grandma McMurray join us, and the trip is very kid focused (lots of swimming in the hotel pool, trips to the children’s museum and zoo, ice cream out, parks, etc.).  It’s so nice because Omaha is a mere 3+ hours away, so while we’re able to get out of dodge and go on a vacation…the travel time is short and sweet.

Showing off her new bathing suit.

Having fun at the Children's Museum

The balls floating on air...it's like "magic". :)

Driving dad around the town.

Enjoying Ayla's FAVORITE toy...a tube of BUBBLES! :)

Walking in the park with papa and grandma McMurray.

The awesome slides at the park near Old Market. SO fun!

After this ride, Ashley decided to go down them by herself...about 15 times! (This is a big change from our daughter who used to be VERY scared of slides).

So much to see at the Omaha Zoo (aquarium).

Mesmerized by the penguins.

Hanging out with grandma, looking for butterflies.

Ashley with her FAVORITE animal...the giraffe.

Self-portrait on the "Skyfari" ride. The chair lift got a little nerve-wracking as you are dangling over an open rhinoceros pit.

Mmmm...jellybeans inside the easter eggs.

Our little Easter Bunny.

We went to visit my parents in Kanorado, Kansas (1 mile from the border of Colorado) over my birthday weekend.  It was a GREAT trip.  It’s not often that the entire Graybill family is able to get together, so it’s always a treat when we can.  My mom had so many wonderful things planned for our gathering.

The ENORMOUS 4 layer birthday cake my grandma made for me. :) YUM!

Dad and Nathan adding some beautiful background images to my picture of my cake. :)

Ayla and Christian (cousins only 9 days apart in age...too cute for words)

My mom planned and bought items, and my dad built a CASTLE for the girls to play in. It was AWESOME!!!! Who builds a castle for their grandkids for just a 5 day visit?? MY PARENTS! Way cool.

Of course what is a castle without a ball? (Does Grandma know Ashley or what!) Ashley was SO excited to get ALL dressed up like Cinderella, dance, and lose her glass slipper at the ball.

The rest of us had to dress the part for the ball as well. Lucky for us adults, my mom has a huge dress-up box full of clothes and accessories. We had fun. :)

Cousin Faith and Ashley sitting at church. (The picture is a bit blurry, but the girls looked beautiful).

Christian chewing on Ayla's FAVORITE stuffed puppy dog at church. That's family love for you...sharing our most prized posessions.

This picture is really blurry, but totally worth the look on Ayla's face.

He is SOOOO cute!!! I love those big brown eyes, and the hair that NEVER lies down.

Cousin Noelle riding my old cabbage patch big wheels in my dad's shop. LOVE the look on her face. GO NOELLE!

My sweet baby girl.

My mom had a tea party for all of the girls. We all wore hats that belonged to my dad's grandmother and my mom showed us these different teapots that belonged to various family members. It was fun and cute.

Modeling our hats and enjoying our tea (Ashley had juice, and her FAVORITE part was pouring her own juice into the cup...she had about 8 cups of juice!)

Faith in her hat.

My mom hosted a Mystery Dinner. There was a hawaiian theme and the names of ALL of the food (including silverware) was in Hawaiian. So...ordering each course of the menu meant you never knew what you were going to get (soup served with a knife perhaps, or dessert and some carrot sticks). It was a lot of work for both Faith, our waitress, and my mom...but we all LOVED it! SO creative.

Taking a walk around the farm. I love my girls.

WIDE open spaces (like farms) are GREAT for running!!

The whole gang! (from left: Mendi, My brother Jeremy, their son Christian. Front row: Ashley, Faith, Noelle, my mom - Lori, my grandma - Shirley Schrunk, my grandpa - Roland Schrunk. Back: My brother Nathan, his wife Julie, my dad - Arnold. Brian, myself, and Ayla are in the middle).
